I spent four days in the Gold Coast on another Famil and I thought I would share a taste (literally, I ate so much!) of my little adventure
Day 1
Dreamworld

The Collective, Palm Beach
@thecollectivepalmbeach #thecollectivepalmbeach is a new dining area (formerly a post office) in the GC, open 7 days. It features five restaurants, one bar and a rooftop bar and dining experience.
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
@currumbinsanctuary #currumbinsanctuary is an iconic Wildlife Sanctuary in the GC. You can wander through Currumbin rainforest, open animal enclosures, feeding kangaroos and cuddling koalas along the way. You can experience wild lorikeet feeding and see an Aboriginal performance.

8th Ave Terrace
@8thaveterrace is also a new restaurant with ocean views from the upper level dining area where we were. The Chef has an ever changing menu based on what local produce was able to be collected.
Day 2
Cafe DBar
@cafedbar offers brunch served with locally sourced ingredients from the GC Hinterland.
Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk
@tamborinerainforestskywalk offers a combination of different walks and trails through the rainforest.
Tamborine Treetop Challenge
@treetop_challenge #treetopchallenge were we were able to experience the Canyon Flyer Guided Zipline Tour.
Oreilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyard
@oreillysrainforrestretreat #canungravalleyvineyards where you can grab a gourmet picnic basket, stretch out by the creek and play fetch with the little dog named Rosie. Follow that with a wine tasting and you have yourself a lovely afternoon!
Baskk at Kirra Point has a really awesome rustic feel, upbeat atmosphere and license until after midnight. Did I mention… ALL THE NOMS. This place was food baby central and I will be back!

Day 3
The Star Gold Coast for the Food Fantasy Buffet for breakfast.

Pacific Fair Shopping Centre where we had some time to explore the giant mall, they also have a complementary first class Visitor Lounge with free wifi, parking and even prayer rooms!

Our transport for the afternoon with Southern Cross 4WD Tours who took us to World Heritage Rainforests of Springbrook and Natural Bridge. Afterwards, we had afternoon tea at a cosy Hinterland restaurant for freshly baked scones and a cuppa.

Gold Coast Food & Wine Tours was AWESOME! Karen is so good at her job! Each tour can be customised and guests get to eat and drink at a selection of venues over the tour. A mix of restaurants, cafes, meet chefs, owners and try new dishes and wines.

Day 4
With Local Yokl at Tallebugera Creek we did a selection off a cooking demo, Mandala Art and SUP Yoga followed by a picnic style healthy breakfast.

BMD Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club activities on the beach followed by lunch on the deck.
Hop On Brewery Tours with little stories, background knowledge, you will come away with a newfound appreciation of what you are drinking.

Dinner in Yamagen, the new Japanese restaurant at the QT Gold Coast – with whisky tasting!

and taking the Gold Coast Light Rail home via the Island Rooftop bar in Surfers.

Day 5
Warner Bros.Movie World and Wet N Wild where our delicious breakfast was interrupted by some familiar heroes…
